Ao Nang has
become one of the most developed areas of Krabi's beaches. A
long sandy beach with limestone mountains as a backdrop with
a view onto many small islands creating an enchanting and
scenic setting.
The beach road which forms a U is the starting point for
most day trips and excursions to the nearby islands.
The main shopping street offers a wide range of restaurants,
bars, pubs,souvenirs, shops, minimarts, dive centres,
massage parlours, banks, ATM machines and more.

Noppharat Thara
beach, the next beach along just around the corner,
being part of the National Park , is less developed and
offers 3 kms of white sandy beach. At low tide you can
wander out onto the sandy stretches to the small islands
facing the beach.
You can also take a ride out into the countryside passing
rubber, coconut and palm oil plantations, small villages and
local markets to get the real feel of the Thai local culture

Other attractions
are Emerald pool, Hot springs, Wat Tham Suea ( Tiger Temple)
, James Bond island , Elephant trekking, rock climbing,
canooing, kayaking, Thai boxing, King cobra show, Fossil

Ao
Nang è
diventata una delle aree più sviluppate delle
spiagge di Krabi. Una spiaggia sabbiosa e lunga con
montagne di calcare come sfondo e una vista sulle
piccole isole che creano un incantevole scenario.
La strada che costeggia la spiaggia, è a forma di U;
è il punto iniziale per la maggior parte dele
escursioni giornaliere alle isole vicine. La strada
principale brulica di ristoranti ,bars,pubs ,souvenirs
,negozi, bancarelle, centri di massaggi, minimarket,
banche e molto altro...
Noppharat Thara, la prossima spiaggia, fa parte del
Parco Nazionale, ed è meno sviluppata. Questa
spiaggia lunga 3 km, quando la bassa marea è in
arrivo, si possono raggiungere le isole minori a
piedi....
Da non perdere escursioni nell' entroterra a Emerald
Pool e alle Hot Springs ( sorgenti di acqua calda),
trekking nella giungla anche in dorso ad un
simpatico elefante, passeggiate in mezzo alle
coltivazioni di caucciu' , olio di palma, palma da
cocco e risaie .Non è raro incontrare scimmie che
giocano sulla spiaggia o vivono liberamente nei
templi sacri.
Le altre attrazioni sono Wat Tham Suea ( Tempio
della Tigre), fossil shell, ( le conchiglie
fossilizzate e naturalmente affittando un motorino
tutto l'entroterra di questa provincia.
